Iran: Any US Strikes an Act of Aggression

Iran warned today that it would consider any attack on its soil, including limited strikes, an “act of aggression,” amid increasing US military pressure on Tehran. The statement came in response to US President Donald Trump's announcement on Friday that he was considering a limited military strike against Iran if Tehran did not reach an agreement with the United States soon. Esmail Baghaei, an Iranian spokesperson, emphatically stated that there was no distinction between a “limited” and full-scale attack, treating any military action against Iran as an act of aggression. This position underlines Iran's determination to defend its territory and react to any military moves against it. This warning comes during a period of heightened tensions between Iran and the US, against the backdrop of disagreements over Iran's nuclear program and regional influence in the Middle East.
