Iran: The Lavish Lives of Elite Children – Private Jets, Designer Bags, and Supercars

While protests in Iran are violently suppressed with thousands of deaths, the children of the Iranian elite are living lives of extravagant luxury, flaunting their wealth on social media. These individuals, children of senior clerics, ministers, and security chiefs, pose with designer bags, supercars, and private jets, sparking outrage among Iranian society. This trend, involving the “aghazadeh” (children of the elite), includes owning businesses and properties abroad, as well as avoiding the hardships faced by ordinary citizens. Relatives of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and former President Hassan Rouhani also reside abroad, with an estimated 5,000 “aghazadeh” living in the United States.
