Cyprus Neurology and Genetics Institute: Largest Development Project Officially Delivered

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING) announced the official delivery of its new building, which is the largest development project in the Institute's history. The project was funded by the European Investment Bank and the Republic of Cyprus and marks a new era for research and innovation in Cyprus. The new building, with an area of approximately 11,000 square meters, will house new research teams in various health fields. It features modern laboratories, state-of-the-art equipment and classrooms, designed according to international standards. The operation of the new building is expected to significantly increase the Institute's research output, strengthen collaborations and attract more postgraduate students. The goal is to improve the health of patients and citizens. The General Executive Director and Medical Director of CING, Prof. Leonidas Phylactou, described the project as a milestone for the Institute and Cyprus, emphasizing that it creates the conditions for further progress in research and innovation.
