Ursula von der Leyen Survives Fourth Motion of Censure in EP

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has survived a fourth motion of censure submitted by far-right MEPs in the European Parliament, due to the recent trade agreement with South American countries. The vote resulted in only 165 votes against, out of a total of 720 members. Von der Leyen was absent from the proceedings as she attended an emergency summit of EU leaders to discuss relations with the US. This is the fourth time in the last six months that Von der Leyen has rejected a motion of censure.
