“The Magic of Nature” | Cyprus Symphony Orchestra in the Heart of Idalion

The Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is organizing a unique musical evening in Idalion, entitled “The Magic of Nature”. The program includes three masterpieces inspired by nature: “The Moldau” by Smetana, selected parts from Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony, and Peer Gynt Suites by Grieg. The orchestra will be conducted by Cypriot conductor Andreas Asiakkis, who will share information about the works with the audience. The event will take place on February 28, 2026, at the Panorama Cinema in Idalion. Andreas Asiakkis is a rising conductor with studies in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He has collaborated with various orchestras and has conducted works by important composers. Admission to the event is free. The event is held in collaboration with the Municipality of South Nicosia - Idalion and under the auspices of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
