Cyprus Remains a Safe Destination, Say CTPA and Limassol Hoteliers

The tourist flow to Limassol remains steady despite international developments, with Cyprus maintaining its reputation as a safe tourist destination. This was highlighted in a meeting between the Limassol Tourism Development and Promotion Company (CTPA) with PASYXE Limassol and STEK. Representatives of the organizations emphasized the importance of coordination and cooperation to ensure the stability and resilience of Limassol's tourism product. The President of CTPA Limassol, Andreas Tsouloftas, stated that CTPA closely monitors developments and maintains open communication with the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and industry stakeholders. The President of PASYXE Limassol, Christos Tsanos, noted that demand remains stable, with only slight differences compared to last year, and that the quality of services enhances visitor confidence. The STEK representative, Rebecca Pieridou, expressed the expectation that any potential losses will recover in the coming months, ahead of Easter celebrations. CTPA Limassol emphasized the importance of composure, cooperation, and coordination to maintain the positive image of Limassol as a safe and quality destination. Finally, CTPA announced that promotional activities for Limassol in international markets continue as usual, aiming to strengthen the destination's presence and maintain tourism momentum for the current and next period. The general assessment is that Cyprus remains a reliable and safe destination for tourists.
