Cyprus Women's National Team Squad Announced for Matches Against Faroe Islands and Romania

The coaching staff of the Cyprus Women's National Team has announced the squad for the upcoming matches against the Faroe Islands and Romania. The first match is a friendly and will be held on March 2nd at Dasaki against the Faroe Islands, while the second is a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup and will be held on March 7th, also at Dasaki, against Romania. Both matches will start at 2:00 PM. The squad includes players from various teams in Cyprus and abroad, such as AEK Athens, OFI Crete, Athlone Town AFC, Apollon Limassol, Aris Limassol, Omonia Nicosia, and Paphos FC. The list also includes players who play at Loughborough University. The first training session is scheduled for Tuesday, February 24th, at Pyrgos Community Stadium, with gathering at 4:30 PM and training starting at 5:30 PM. Training will continue throughout the week at the same stadium. The call-up of the players marks the start of preparations for these important matches, with the aim of achieving positive results and qualifying for the 2027 World Cup.
