Central Bank Seeks Public Input on Investments and Savings

The Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) is organizing an event titled “Financial Literacy for Life – European Citizens’ Dialogue” on March 26, 2026, aiming to gather public opinion on savings and investments. The event will feature a roundtable discussion with the Commissioner of Financial Services and the Governor of the CBC. To collect data, the CBC will conduct a survey in selected locations across Cyprus on February 24-25, 2026. The survey will be anonymous and collect basic demographic information. Additionally, participation in the survey will be available online, via a special link on the CBC website, from February 24 to 28, 2026. The CBC encourages the public to participate, dedicating a few minutes to answer the questionnaire. The event will be broadcast live via the CBC’s YouTube channel on March 26, 2026, and will be available in video format later. The goal is to utilize the findings to design targeted financial education initiatives.
