Cyprus Records 18-Year High in Property Sales in 2025

Cyprus recorded an 18-year high in property sales in 2025, with 18,114 transfer deeds submitted compared to 15,797 in 2024, marking a 15% increase. The total volume of transfers reached 19,304, with their value amounting to €4.7 billion. Limassol and Larnaca show a strong upward trend, while Paphos records a slight decrease in the number of transfers. Marinos Kynaigirou, President of the Council for Registration of Real Estate Agents, emphasized the resilience and attractiveness of the real estate sector, as well as the need to find solutions for affordable housing. Market stabilization is expected in 2026.
