Zelensky Expects Massive Russian Attack Ahead of Trilateral Talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expects a massive Russian attack before tomorrow's trilateral meeting between the US, Russia, and Ukraine in Geneva. He has instructed officials to prepare additional protective measures, considering intelligence reports about preparations for a Russian strike. Zelenskyy was briefed on the consequences of the overnight Russian attack against energy facilities, emphasizing the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense. He stressed that every Russian missile is a response to calls for an end to the war and that peace requires pressure on Russia and clear security guarantees for Ukraine. The situation in various regions of Ukraine was examined, including Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv, while an order was given to expand aid to Kharkiv. Simultaneously, meetings are being prepared within the framework of an energy “Ramstein” in France, with the participation of G7 countries and other partners. Zelenskyy emphasized the need to accelerate the supply of air defense missiles, calling it an unchanged priority. Ukraine is working to implement agreements reached with partners to strengthen air defense.
