Zelenskyy: New Aid Packages for Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that his country has secured new aid packages from European allies, both in the energy and military sectors, ahead of the upcoming anniversary of the Russian invasion. The agreement was reached in Munich, within the Berlin Format, and includes specific commitments for aid until February 24th. Zelenskyy expressed hope for further support, particularly regarding air defense systems, given the critical situation at the front and Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Russian attacks have left millions of citizens without power during the winter. Zelenskyy stated that Russia has launched thousands of attacks with drones, guided bombs, and missiles in the past week. This aid is considered crucial for countering the Russian advance and protecting Ukrainian citizens.
