ETAP: Meeting with Kiniras Lifeguard Association to Further Enhance Beach Safety

The Paphos Regional Tourism Development and Promotion Company held a working meeting with representatives of the Kiniras Lifeguard Association, with the aim of upgrading safety on the beaches of Paphos. During the meeting, existing conditions, operational challenges and needs in terms of equipment, staffing and infrastructure were discussed. Particular emphasis was placed on early preparation for the summer season, in order to ensure the highest possible level of safety for swimmers and residents. ETAP Paphos underlined the crucial role of lifeguards in the tourist experience and the image of the destination. Agreement was reached on the need for closer cooperation and coordination with all relevant stakeholders, with the aim of identifying and prioritizing needs and promoting realistic solutions. The meeting concluded in a constructive atmosphere, with a joint commitment to continue the dialogue and undertake initiatives. ETAP Paphos is committed to continuing to support collaborative actions with professional and institutional bodies, with the aim of sustainable tourism development and upgrading the services provided.
