The Paphos Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) recently hosted 12 Polish cycling clubs in Paphos, who expressed their enthusiasm for the destination. The Polish cyclists had the opportunity to explore the province's cycling network, riding in areas such as Laona, Akamas, Polis Chrysochous, and Drizou. They were impressed by the variety of routes, the natural beauty, and the quality of the trails, making Paphos an ideal location for training and recreational cycling, especially during the months of November-May. In addition to the cycling routes, the Polish cyclists were impressed by the local cuisine and traditional products of Paphos, as well as the hospitality of the locals. ETAP reports that the visitors expressed their intention to return to Paphos and recommend the destination to other cycling clubs in Poland. ETAP Paphos continues its efforts to promote sports tourism, considering it a key factor in extending the tourist season and enhancing the international image of Paphos. The region is now recognized as an emerging and competitive cycling destination in Europe. The visit of the Polish cycling clubs is a success for Paphos, as it highlights the potential of the area as a sports destination and contributes to attracting new tourists.
