Construction Material Prices Rise 1.09% Annually in January

The Construction Materials Price Index recorded an increase of 1.09% on an annual basis in January 2026, according to the Statistical Service. The index stood at 118.89 units (base 2021=100), indicating continued pressures on the cost of construction materials. The largest increases were recorded in minerals (2.91%) and electromechanical goods (2.55%), while a decrease was observed in metal products (-0.49%). On a monthly basis, the index increased by 0.12% in January compared to December.
