Iran Allows Passage of 'Friendly' Countries' Ships Through Strait of Hormuz

Iran is allowing the passage of ships from countries not involved in operations against it through the Strait of Hormuz, creating an informal regime of 'selective passage'. Ships from India, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia have already been granted permission to pass, while vessels linked to the US or Israel will not be allowed through. Tehran assures that this is not a complete closure of the strait, but rather targeted restrictions. The Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister stated that countries that have communicated with them will cooperate for passage, while countries supporting the attack will not have safe passage. This move comes amid escalating tensions with the US and Israel.
