Medvedev's Attacks and Kremlin Threats After Claims of Drones at Putin's Home – Russian Army Knows 'Where, When and How to Respond'

Russia and Ukraine are exchanging accusations and threats following Russian claims of a Ukrainian drone attack on a residence of Vladimir Putin in Novgorod. Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, launched a personal attack on Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him a “vile bastard.” The Kremlin threatens to harden its position in peace negotiations and states that the Russian army knows “where, when and how to respond.” Putin's location during the attack is not being revealed, while Moscow accuses the West and Zelensky of trying to undermine peace. Ukraine categorically rejected Russia's claims, calling them “lies.” Zelensky argues that Russia is trying to undermine peace talks and warns of possible attacks on government buildings in Kyiv. He also called for a reaction from Donald Trump to the Russian threats.
