The Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation is issuing an urgent call for blood donation, covering all blood types. The need is critical and urgent, as stocks are extremely low. Donors can visit today until 7:30 PM at the following centers: Engomi Health Center, Old Limassol Hospital, and Larnaca General Hospital. For residents of Famagusta and Paphos, blood donation can be made at the Cyprus Blood Center/Blood Donation. This call comes after reports of postponed transfusions due to blood shortages, causing anxiety for patients and their families. Public response is vital to meet the needs of hospitals and ensure timely care.
