Greek-Owned Tankers Attacked by Drones in Black Sea

Two Greek-owned tankers, the 'Delta Harmony' and 'Matilda', were attacked by drones while located near the port of Novorossiysk in Russia, in the Black Sea. The vessels were waiting to load oil from the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) terminal. The extent of the damage remains unclear, but a fire was reported on the 'Delta Harmony' which was quickly extinguished. The attack appears to be linked to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and highlights the risks faced by seafarers in the escalating geopolitical competition.
