ALMA Movement Received €2,299 in Contributions in January

The ALMA – Citizens for Cyprus movement received a total of €2,299 in contributions in January 2026 from four donors. The party emphasized that although Cypriot law permits contributions of up to €50,000 annually from an individual, or hundreds of thousands from companies, its statutes set stricter limits. Specifically, ALMA has set a maximum limit of €25,000 per year per individual or group of related individuals/companies. All contributions are made exclusively through bank transactions to ensure transparency and traceability. According to the party, contributions over €500 are published on its website by the end of the following month, while contributions under €500 are recorded and audited by the Auditor General, as per the legislation. This initiative aims to enhance transparency and accountability in the party's financing.
