Two Traffic Accidents Disrupt Traffic on Larnaca-Ammochostos Highway

Two traffic accidents occurred today on the Larnaca-Ammochostos highway, causing traffic congestion. The first accident happened early this morning, around 7:30 AM, heading towards Ammochostos, near the Livadia exit, resulting in one person being taken to the hospital for precautionary examinations. Shortly after, a second accident occurred heading towards Larnaca, near the Oroklini exit. According to the Police, both accidents involved two vehicles, with no injuries reported in the second incident. Police officers immediately went to the scene to manage traffic and conduct the necessary investigations. Traffic was affected at both locations, however, the vehicles were removed and traffic returned to normal. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accidents to determine the causes and prevent similar incidents in the future. The Police remind drivers to be especially careful while driving, to follow the Highway Code, and to adjust their speed to the prevailing conditions, especially during periods of increased traffic.
