Flu Cases Surge in Greece, Two Children Hospitalized in ICU

There is a 30% increase in hospitalizations of children with flu and RSV in Greece, putting pressure on pediatric hospitals. Two children, aged 3 and 6, are in the Intensive Care Unit, with the 3-year-old intubated. According to POEDHN, approximately 50 children with flu and viral infection symptoms are admitted per shift at the Agia Sophia and Aglaia Kyriakou Children's Hospitals, while over 250 children visit the hospitals in total.
