Zelensky Not Attending Davos (For Now)

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently remaining in Kyiv, following the large-scale Russian attacks that occurred overnight, and is not currently planning to travel to Davos for the World Economic Forum, as reported by Axios journalist Barak Ravid. This decision is due to the critical situation in Ukraine. However, there is a possibility that Zelensky will travel to Davos if a bilateral meeting with former US President Donald Trump takes place to sign a so-called “prosperity agreement,” according to a Ukrainian official who spoke to Ravid. Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine overnight, using more than 300 drones and a significant number of ballistic and cruise missiles. This attack appears to be the main reason for Zelensky's decision to remain in Kyiv.
