UEFA Rejects PAOK's Request to Postpone Match, Offers Condolences for Fatal Crash

UEFA has rejected a request from PAOK FC to postpone their match against Lyon, despite the tragic road accident in Timisoara that claimed the lives of seven PAOK fans. UEFA expressed its condolences to the PAOK family and all those affected by the accident. The request for postponement was made due to the grief prevailing within the team and its fans, following the death of the seven supporters who were travelling to Lyon. However, UEFA decided not to proceed with the postponement of the match, which will be held as scheduled on Thursday for the final matchday of the Europa League League Phase.
