Gang-Related Robbery in Larnaca Linked to Andronikou Murder

Five individuals, four of whom have already been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Dimitris Andronikou, are facing trial for a robbery that took place at a Larnaca home in February 2024. The robbery was carried out by four masked individuals who entered the house and, threatening with garden scissors, immobilized the homeowner and two domestic helpers. The perpetrators stole jewelry, watches, and cash totaling €188,000. One of the stolen watches was later found in a jewelry store in Lebanon, and one of the accused was arrested for allegedly contacting the seller. Police gathered evidence linking the accused to both the robbery and the Andronikou murder, as one of them implicated the others during questioning. The case will be heard before the Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court on April 2nd.
