Minister of Interior to Brief MEPs on Housing Priorities of EU Presidency

The Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, will brief the HOUS and EMPL Committees of the European Parliament on the priorities of the Cypriot EU Presidency in the field of housing. The briefing will take place in Brussels on Wednesday and Thursday. According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior, Mr. Ioannou will present the main objectives of the Presidency, with emphasis on the actions being promoted to strengthen affordable housing, in accordance with the European Plan for Affordable Housing. During his visit, the Minister will also hold a bilateral meeting with the Director-General of the Council of the EU, David Brozina, responsible for issues of Agriculture, Fisheries, Social Affairs and Health. This visit is part of Cyprus' efforts to promote its interests in the field of housing at European level.
