Germany: ECB Approves Vujčić for Deputy Position

The European Central Bank (ECB) today approved the appointment of Boris Vujčić to the position of new vice-president. Vujčić, who is currently governor of the Croatian National Bank, will take office in June and his term will be eight years. The appointment of Vujčić was proposed by the finance ministers of the Eurozone last month and the ECB's approval was the final step for his official accession to office.
