«Μέχρι την τελευταία ημέρα της θητείας μου θα κάνω ό,τι μπορώ για την επίλυση του Κυπριακού», δήλωσε ο ΓΓ του ΟΗΕ, Αντόνιο Γκουτέρες, σε συνέντευξή του στο NTV, με αφορμή την επίσκεψή του στην Άγκυρα.
Στην συνέντευξή του ο ΓΓ του ΟΗΕ είπε πως «εργαζόμαστε πολύ εντατικά για την επίλυση του κυπριακού προβλήματος. Δεν θα έλεγα ότι είμαστε πολύ κοντά, αλλά έχουμε σημειώσει θετική πρόοδο προς τα εμπρός. Έχουμε επανεκκινήσει τις επαφές», ανέφερε.
«Δεν είμαι ούτε αισιόδοξος ούτε απαισιόδοξος, αλλά είμαι αποφασισμένος. Μέχρι την τελευταία ημέρα της θητείας μου θα κάνω ό,τι μπορώ για την επίλυση του Κυπριακού», σημείωσε.
