Emergency Rooms Overwhelmed by Infections, Pharmacists Report New GESY Software Issues

Hospital Emergency Departments (EDs) are overwhelmed with patients due to the surge in seasonal infections, particularly the flu. Pharmacists are protesting disruptions in the GESY (Cyprus National Health Insurance System) software, which is causing inconvenience to patients and delaying their service. The increase in cases has led to more hospitalizations. The problem with the GESY software is frequent, especially on Mondays, and affects both pharmacists and doctors, who are struggling to prescribe medication.
