A yellow warning for a combination of rain and storms has been issued by the Meteorological Service, valid from this morning until Saturday morning. A combination of rain and isolated storms is expected to intermittently affect the island, with the possibility of hail and strengthening winds during storms. Rainfall locally, especially in the western half of the island, may exceed 55 millimeters in 24 hours, with a rain intensity of up to 35 millimeters per hour. Winds will be south to southwest, moderate to strong, with temporary reinforcements. The sea will be rough. The weather is expected to be cloudy with rain and storms, while snow or sleet may fall in the higher mountains. In the evening, the winds will strengthen, especially on the coasts. On Saturday, the phenomena will weaken, while on Sunday and Monday the weather will be mainly clear with increased clouds.
