Oscar Nominations Announced: 'Sinners' Leads with 16 Nods, 'Poor Things' Receives Four

The nominations for the 98th Academy Awards have been announced, with 'Sinners' dominating with 16 nominations, breaking the Academy record. 'One Battle After Another' follows with 13 nominations. Yorgos Lanthimos's film, 'Poor Things', received 4 nominations in the categories of Best Picture, Best Actress (Emma Stone), Adapted Screenplay (Will Tracey), and Music (Jerskin Fendrix). The nominations for the 24 categories were announced by Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman. This year, a new category, Best Casting, has been added to the list.
