"Jihadist Pills" Found in Limassol Apartment

During a search of an apartment in Limassol, police found 263 captagon tablets, also known as "jihadist pills," belonging to a 21-year-old. The tablets were found hidden under the bed. The 21-year-old was arrested and taken to the YKAN for questioning, where he made some claims that are being investigated. Captagon pills are used by ISIS fighters and are considered relatively new to the Cypriot market, with authorities focusing on their detection. Millions of such pills have been seized in the past by Greek authorities.
