Deadline Approaching for Voter Registration

April 2nd is the last day to submit an application for registration on the electoral roll for the Parliamentary Elections of May 24th, 2026. All citizens of the Republic aged 18 and over, who have their habitual residence in Cyprus for the last six months, are eligible to vote. The Ministry of Interior calls on new voters to submit their application early, as no new registration or change to the electoral roll will be possible after April 2nd. Those who turn 18 years old by the date of the elections are also eligible for registration, provided their application is submitted within the last quarterly review of the electoral roll (January 3rd, 2026 – April 2nd, 2026). In addition, Turkish Cypriots holding an identity card of the Republic of Cyprus with an address in the free areas are also eligible to register. Applications can be submitted electronically (via the elections.gov.cy website) for individuals up to 25 years of age, while printed applications are submitted to the Offices of the District Administrations, the Citizen Service Centers (CSC) and the Citizen Centers (C.C.) of the Cyprus Post. Printed application forms are available from the same points, the Ministry of Interior and the election website.
