Many zoos across Bulgaria welcomed newborn animals in 2025, attracting more visitors and contributing to the conservation of endangered species. The Sofia Zoo saw the birth of monkeys, alpacas, bison, and others. In Varna, a baby African leopard was born, while Burgas welcomed a white alpaca. The Stara Zagora Zoo had a particularly successful year with the birth of a Bengal tiger cub, a critically endangered species. These births represent a significant contribution to biodiversity protection and raising public awareness about the need to conserve endangered species.
