KEVE Sees Economic Boost from New Housing Policy

The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KEVE) expressed the view that the government's new housing policy could boost the economy by boosting construction activity, the real estate sector and construction. KEVE welcomed the announcement, describing it as an initiative aimed at addressing a significant socio-economic problem and estimating that it will contribute to the creation of new jobs. It is noted that the new provisions and revised criteria strengthen access to housing and economic stability. The Chamber states that it supports policies that promote development and competitiveness, offering prospects for households, businesses and the Cypriot economy.
