Tourist Arrested for Abandoning Puppy at Airport

A tourist was arrested at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on charges of abandoning her 2-year-old puppy. The woman left the dog after being informed she could not bring it on her flight without the necessary documentation. According to police, the tourist tied the dog's leash to a JetBlue counter and proceeded to the departure gate. During the arrest, the woman reportedly reacted aggressively, claiming she was trying to rebook her flight and that leaving the dog was acceptable as it had a tracking device. The puppy was taken to an animal shelter, and the woman made no attempt to retrieve it. She faces charges of animal abandonment and resisting arrest.
