Αντιδράσεις προκάλεσαν στην Τουρκία τα συνθήματα που φώναξαν οι λοκατζήδες με αφορμή τον εορτασμό της εθνικής επετείου της 25ης Μαρτίου.
Σε βίντεο που δημοσίευσαν φαίνονται μέλη των ειδικών δυνάμεων που φώναζαν συνθήματα κατά την διάρκεια των εκδηλώσεων για την επέτειο της Ελληνικής επανάστασης του 1821.
Μεταξύ των συνθημάτων που προκάλεσαν ενόχληση ήταν τα εξής: «θα ανάψουμε κεριά στην Αγία Σοφία», «θα στήσουμε σταυρούς στα τείχη της Κωνσταντινούπολης», «θα κατεβάσουμε την τουρκική σημαία και θα υψώσουμε στη θέση της τη σημαία των σταυροφόρων» και «η Κύπρος είναι ελληνική».

Turkish Reaction to Cypriot Commandos' Slogans: "Cyprus is Greek"
Reactions were provoked in Turkey by the slogans chanted by Cypriot commandos during the celebration of March 25th. In videos that have been circulated, members of the special forces are heard chanting slogans such as “we will light candles in Hagia Sophia,” “we will erect crosses on the walls of Constantinople,” and “Cyprus is Greek.” These slogans, particularly the latter, were considered provocative by the Turkish side. The post containing the video has been widely shared on Turkish social media, sparking discussions and strong reactions.
