Books of Condolence Open in Athens and Thessaloniki for Former Cypriot President

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Athens and the Consulate General in Thessaloniki have opened books of condolence for the passing of former Cypriot President, Giorgos Vassiliou. The books will remain open until January 19th. Additionally, all official events and activities have been postponed during the period of national mourning, from January 15th to 17th, 2026, the day of the funeral service.
