Chaïtoglou Brothers: Tahini Enters the Protein Battle with Record Exports

Chaïtoglou Brothers closed 2025 with a turnover of €103.5 million, an increase of 3.5%, despite increased pressures from high prices, tariffs and changing eating habits. The increase is mainly due to tahini’s inclusion in the international protein trend and record exports. Exports amounted to 52.7% of total turnover, with the US being the main market (almost 20% of total turnover). The company invests in innovation, focusing on enriching tahini with protein and fiber. Tahini remains the leading product, while peanut butter is showing the fastest growth. Halva remains an important product, with the company investing in small packages for daily consumption. The company has made investments of €3.6 million over the last two years and plans investments of €2 million for 2026, focusing on production modernization and energy autonomy through photovoltaic systems.
