The Directorate of Mental Health Services - OKYPY is providing psychological support to farmers affected by the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease through a 24/7 helpline. The initiative, which began on February 23, 2026, is being implemented in collaboration with local Community Councils. Affected farmers can contact the helpline to receive the necessary support. The aim of the initiative is to address the psychological impact of the crisis on farmers, offering a safe and discreet channel of communication.
