This Spiral is Being Recalled from the Market Due to Risk of Electric Shock

A Flexible Wave Conduit (spiral) is being recalled from the market due to a risk of electric shock, as it failed a crash test. The product, manufactured by Lordos United Plastics Public Limited, does not comply with the safety requirements of the Low Voltage Directive. The Electromechanical Services Department recommends replacing the product, although the probability of an accident is considered remote. Licensed electricians are asked not to use it and to return it to the seller. Consumers are entitled to free repair or replacement, or a refund, in accordance with applicable legislation. The Consumer Protection Service is available to submit complaints.
