King Charles Named Hardest-Working Royal of 2025

King Charles has been named the hardest-working member of the British royal family for 2025, having completed 535 official engagements, according to the Mirror and Court Circular records. This means he has surpassed Princess Anne, who held the title in previous years. King Charles continues to carry out his duties despite undergoing treatment for cancer, which began in February 2024 and is expected to be reduced in the new year. Princess Anne ranks second on the list with 478 engagements, followed by Prince Edward (313) and the Duchess of Edinburgh Sophie (235). Queen Camilla came in fifth place with 228 engagements, while Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, was sixth with 212 appearances. Prince William ranked seventh with 202 royal engagements, while the Duchess of Gloucester followed in eighth place with 113. The 90-year-old Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, accumulated 77 appearances, and Princess Kate Middleton completed the top ten with 68 engagements. Princess Kate has limited her public appearances due to her own cancer treatment, which began in March 2024. Despite the health challenges faced by the King and the Princess, the royal family continues to perform its duties and represent the United Kingdom.
