Adamantini Kosma has been crowned the Queen of the 2026 Famagusta Carnival, as announced by the Paralimni-Deryneia Municipality. This year's carnival theme is "GRANDE CARNAVAL!". The official coronation will take place on February 12th in the Agiou Georgiou Square in Paralimni, where Adamantini will receive the scepter from the outgoing Carnival King, Alki Christou. The new Queen will lead the Podaratis (Night) Parade on February 21st and the grand Carnival Parade on Sunday, February 22nd, in Paralimni. The event is expected to attract large crowds and offer a unique entertainment experience. Adamantini Kosma is an established dancer, choreographer, and dance teacher, with a significant presence in the Cypriot dance scene. She has been recognized in numerous competitions and has actively participated in the Famagusta Carnival for many years. The selection of Adamantini Kosma as Carnival Queen marks a new era for the event, promising an impressive and energetic presence.
