New Weather System Approaching Cyprus – Rain, Storms, and Hail Expected

A new weather system is expected to affect Cyprus starting Wednesday, bringing rain, storms, and the possibility of hail. Thursday and Friday will see cloudy weather with local rains and isolated thunderstorms, with the possibility of hail. In the higher peaks of Troodos, there is a possibility of sleet or snow. Winds will be intermittently strong. Overall, the temperature will drop slightly on Thursday and remain at the same levels on Friday, fluctuating slightly below the average climatic values for the season. Citizens are advised to be prepared for the changing weather conditions.
