Cypriot Cuisine Reaches Seville

Cypriot cuisine traveled to Seville, Spain, as part of events related to the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Approximately 80 people participated in Cypriot cooking classes, where they learned to prepare traditional dishes such as koupepia, amygdalota, ravioles, and kollyva, as well as accompaniments like talattouri and tahini. Participants had the opportunity to experience not only the flavors but also the stories and traditions that accompany these dishes in Cypriot culture. The initiative was organized entirely on a voluntary basis and was warmly received by the participants, who expressed their enthusiasm for the authenticity of the flavors and the experience they had.
