Warehouses Papadakis: Marina Christodoulidou as New Artistic Director - Her Biography

Marina Christodoulidou has taken over the position of Artistic Director of the Limassol Municipal Art Centre – Warehouses Papadakis, from the beginning of February. Christodoulidou is a curator and art theorist with a focus on curatorial approaches that aim to create critical infrastructures, common spaces, and social formations. Her work focuses on co-creation and placement, and she has participated in many exhibitions and publishing projects in the field of visual arts and architecture, with a social orientation. She studied History of Art and Philosophy and holds a master's degree in Critical Curating from the University of Essex. Christodoulidou has been a member of the curatorial team of the Cypriot participation in the Venice Art Biennale and director of the Zambelas Art Museum in Nicosia. She has curated the Cypriot Pavilion at the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale and co-organized research projects on social issues, such as The Broken Pitcher and Hope is a Discipline. She is also a curatorial fellow at the de Appel Curatorial Programme in Amsterdam and teaches at the Dutch Art Institute.
