Striking DEA Workers in Cyprus

Workers at the Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) in the Turkish-held areas of Cyprus are on strike, as they have not received their salaries for 43 days. The public employees' union (KTAMS) blames the 'Ministry of Finance' for the delay, due to its refusal to recognize the signature of the Turkish Cypriot leader. Workers will hold a full-day strike on Monday, February 16, and a protest outside the 'Ministry of Finance'.
