US Warships 'Lock Down' the Gulf - Where is the USS Gerald Ford?

The United States has deployed a significant naval force to the Middle East, including two aircraft carriers (USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Gerald Ford) and multiple destroyers, amid rising tensions in the region. The USS Gerald Ford, currently near Cyprus and Israel, passed through the Strait of Gibraltar on February 19-20 and is expected to reach the area on February 23-24. The aircraft carriers are supported by fighter jets such as the F-35C Lightning II and F/A-18 Super Hornet, as well as electronic warfare and early warning aircraft. The deployment also includes guided-missile destroyers and littoral combat ships, bolstering the US presence in the region. According to the New York Times, the USS Gerald Ford carrier strike group will approach the Israeli coast to protect sensitive facilities.
