The President of the House of Representatives and President of the Democratic Rally, Annita Dimitriou, stressed the importance of immediate and practical support from Greece, given the developments in the region and Cyprus's geopolitical position. She emphasized that Greek support is vital. Ms. Dimitriou stated that she had already contacted the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, demonstrating the close coordination and strong ties between the two countries. She also noted that Cyprus's strengthening is the result of a multifaceted foreign policy developed in recent years. The President of the House referred to the upgraded role of Greece in Europe and internationally, emphasizing the strengthening of the country's presence in crisis management and the shaping of European policies. Ms. Dimitriou stressed that Cyprus is part of the solution and remains committed to its role as a factor of stability and cooperation in the region. She called for calm and responsibility during times of crisis, emphasizing that panic is not a good advisor.
