The average total rainfall in the free areas, from February 1st to 9:00 am on the 19th of the month, reached 81% of normal. The largest amount of rainfall was recorded in Prodromos (189.3 mm), which corresponds to 130% of the normal for February, while Platanias recorded 188.9 mm (128% of normal) and particularly heavy rainfall in the last 24 hours (22.4 mm). Overall, the average rainfall amounted to 65.8 mm, compared to 81.6 mm, which is the normal for the month. Rainfall in the last 24 hours was 3.8 mm. Pano Panagia recorded 126.9 mm (110% of normal) and Stavros tis Psokas 126.6 mm (94% of normal). These figures come from the Department of Meteorology and show that, although rainfall is below average, in some areas, such as Prodromos and Platanias, the normal amount for February has been exceeded.
