Cabinet Approves Revision of Minor State Aid Scheme

The Council of Ministers approved the revision of the Minor State Aid Scheme of the Deputy Ministry of Social Welfare. The revision includes changes aimed at facilitating the liquidity of organizations implementing social care programs, as well as simplifying the procedures for submitting proposals. The changes include providing the possibility of an advance of state aid amounting to 30% of the amount received the previous year, expanding the priorities of the scheme to include daytime care programs for infants, and reducing the number of required quotations for the purchase of equipment and furniture. These amendments respond to requests from stakeholders and aim to improve the efficiency and speed of implementation of social care programs. The Deputy Minister of Welfare, Clea Hadjistefanou Papaellina, stated that the changes will contribute to the timely implementation of the actions of the organizations.
